Dear friends and customers Hello. This is Yuka. Gomennasai(we are so sorry) for not writing message here for a long time. It has been a great pleasure for both Ichiro and me to see many people visiting here and have so much interesting messages!! We have learned a lot of things--various information, precious opinions, wonderful experiences--each message is precious and means a lot to us. Having started our site last year,we have been trying and seeking for the good way to offer kimono, on our site, sometimes figihting with computer problems. Fortunately, we met three wonderful women who help us with photos and computers, and we think we will find time to write messages here. May 5 is Kodomo-no-hi(Children's Day). We can see carp streamers swimming in the blue sky and we know there must be boys in the family of that house. Kabuto(war helmet) also is the popular decoration for the occasion. Even the pets have to wear Kabuto, if they are boys!! www.ichiroya.com/kokyaku/koinobori2.htmNO, that is not true, but we celebrate the growth of the children, by eating Chimaki(rice dumpling wrapped with bamboo leaves--smells good!) or Kashiwa mochi(race cake with sweet bean paste filling wrapped with oak leaves)! Children's favorite place for eating out is Kaiten sushi(sushi dishes are served on the moving belt conveyor and you can take whatever you like when they come in front of you!). It is so much fun and taste good, so we are sure threre will be a long waiting line on Children's day. Dozo you too have a wonderful spring day on May 5th !!
