What's the difference between a cut and non- cut fursisode? I see this in the descriptions on auctions.
Are cut kimono worth less?

When you it says 'cut' it may signify that the fabric is cut and basted together, but still requires final sewing and finishing. I'm not so certain that this happens with furisode so much, but certainly with homongi.
Can you show (or reference) an example?

Oy, actually the auction ended so I can't cut and paste the description. (Yahoo Japan) I do have the kimono pic saved, but I couldn't see any difference. I notice that the state of being cut and uncut is mentioned sometimes on both furisode and houmongi, sometimes tsukesage. I'm assuming that it was cut to better accomodate a smaller person maybe? If I see the auction or a similar one, I'll copy the description.
